ADMISSIONS PROCESS

 

SOME TERMS TO KEEP IN MIND:

LICS: La Immaculada Concepcion School
OSA: Office of Student Affairs
PSA: Philippine Statistics Authority
ECCD: Early Childhood Care and Development
PEPT: Philippine Educational Placement Test
NCAE: National Career Assessment Examination

 

LET'S BEGIN

WHICH TYPE TYPE OF APPLICANT ARE YOU?

  • Applicants who are currently enrolled in another school

  • Applicants who are currently enrolled in another school

  • Previously studied at La Immaculada Concepcion School

  • Current G6 students moving up to Junior High School

  • You may proceed to Griffin to file your application online.

 

NEW APPLICANTS

1) As a new applicant, you will need to take an initial assessment to be administered by the Guidance or OSA. If there are no issues, you may proceed to the next step. However, if you encountered any issues, you will still be given a chance to take the entrance test only once.


2) OSA will give you a Recommendation Form which you would need to submit to your previous school and returned to LICS/OSA for checking and evaluation. Note: The Recommendation Form will be given to all New Applicants and Returnees except Preschool and Primary School applicants.


3) You may now submit the following requirements to the Admissions Office:

- Original and photocopy of your PSA Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate (or Certificate of Religious Affiliation)
- Your report card (Form 138)
- Good Moral Certificate with your school's dry seal
- LICS Recommendation Form
- Two (2) pcs. 2x2 recent colored ID photo
- Php175.00 for your Application and Testing Fee (which is non-refundable and non-transferable)

Additional Requirements:

For Preschool and G1, please attach your ECCD.

For Senior High School Applicants, you would need to include a certified true copy of your Certificate of Completion, a printout of your Certificate of Voucher, and the results of your NCAE.

For Honor Students, please include the Certificate of Academic Excellence.

And for Promoted Students, please attach your PEPT.

Important reminder: All photocopied documents will automatically become the property of LICS and will not be returned to you. Original documents except the Good Moral Character will be returned after validation.

4) Upon completion and verification of the submitted documents, you may now pay the Entrance Test Fee at the Payment Office. Don't forget to get your receipt.

5) Proceed to the Admissions Office and present the receipt. You will then be given your test schedule. Good luck!

If you pass the entrance test and your interview, you will receive a Letter of Intent to secure your reservation for the next Academic Year. You may now pay the corresponding amount at the Payment Area. The staff at the Payment Area will also collect the Letter of Intent.

If you didn't pass the entrance test, do not be discouraged. You will be given another chance to take it. If you fail to pass it, you will be automatically be placed on the waiting list.

 

RETURNEES

Welome back!

1) As a returnee, we will try to facilitate your application process as easy as possible. Your initial assessment will go through the Guidance and your teachers. Please bear in mind that records of your previous stay in LICS will be a big factor in your assessment. If there are no issues, you may proceed to the next step. However, depending on your records, your re-application may be denied.

2) OSA will give you a Recommendation Form which you would need to submit to your previous school and returned to LICS/OSA for checking and evaluation. Note: The Recommendation Form will be given to all New Applicants and Returnees except Preschool and Primary School applicants.


3) You may now submit the following requirements to the Admissions Office:

CURRENT G6 STUDENTS

Welcome to High School!

1) You will be assessed by the Guidance and your teachers. Once you pass it, you may proceed to the next step. However, if there are any problems within an Academic year, your application may be put on hold depending on the severity of your case.


2) You will need to submit the following requirements to the Admissions Office:

- Original and photocopy of your PSA Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate (or Certificate of Religious Affiliation)

- Two (2) pcs. 2x2 recent colored ID photo

Please place the requirements inside a brown folder. The original documents will be returned to you after verification.

3) Upon completion and verification of the submitted requirements, you will be given an application form to be filled up by a parent or a guardian. Please return it to the Admission Office.

4) You will be interviewed by the Guidance. After that, you will be given a Letter of Intent to secure a Reservation for the next Academic Year and may pay the corresponding amount at the Payment Area. The Staff at the Payment Area will also collect the Letter of Intent. 

Please note that if a parent or legal guardian will be the one to process the application, they may proceed to the OSA.

That's it. You're now in High School!
